Mt Beauty Summit Views sits high upon the hill at Tawonga, in the heart of the Victorian Alpine region.
Your stay will be in the upper story of the house which has four spacious bedrooms. Two rooms have king beds (can be split ) the Master has a full en-suite and a floor bed for toddlers. Two rooms have queen beds.
The upstairs balcony features picturesque views of Mt Bogong, the highest mountain in Victoria. A perfect place for your morning cup of tea or to watch the sunset with a glass of wine.
The spacious family/lounge room and bedrooms overlook the most spectacular views of the Kiewa Valley. It is equipped with a 50” 4K television offering Netflix and WiFi access. You can take a peaceful 1km walk to the Kiewa river and Ryders bridge swimming hole, only a ten minutes away. The property is walking distance to the Tawonga General Store for any cravings or last minute items. Mt Beauty town centre is only 5 kms away and a picturesque drive up the valley worth taking. Alternatively, it’s a manageable bike ride.
Your stay will be in the entire upper story of the residence. You have your own private entry, via the double wooden doors.
Access to keys will be through a lock box system.

Eagles Nest Hideaway Guest Suites are a great place to stay for that welcomed getaway.
The guest suites comprise two bedrooms, a private bathroom, kitchenette, outdoor terrace, an additional area with barbecue and outdoor setting. The property offers comfortable accommodation to relax and unwind, enjoying the local wildlife.
The suite accommodates up to four guests. Bedroom one has a king bed, can be split into two king singles. Bedroom two has a queen bed, plus a single bed. All bed linen and bath towels provided by the host.
The kitchenette, has a dining table, workbench area, kitchen appliances, microwave, fridge, crockery, specifically set up to meet with your daily essentials and a barbecue area outside. No kitchen provided.
Only a four-hour drive from Melbourne, Mount Beauty is a three-kilometre drive, where there are taverns, cafes and restaurants. Falls Creek is a 33-kilometre drive where activities are abundant for all ages. Travelling time to Bright is approximately 30 minutes.

This is a four kilometres-return walk from the town of Mt Beauty, tracing the eastern bank of the lovely Kiewa River.
This sealed walk path follows the Kiewa River (west branch) as it threads through the north end of the lovely town of Mount Beauty in the Happy Valley region.
The walk trail begins just off the main Highway into town, but the scenery certainly improves as you pass farmland, shady groves, happy riverside campers (in warmer months) and then arrive at the inviting Pebble Beach area for a swim, if you fancy.
Pack your swimwear and some water shoes if the weather is warm, as the rocks are very slippery (and can be pointy and uncomfortable to walk on in bare feet).
When you approach the beach area the path splits – stay left and follow the river.
The ‘beach’ is really a calmer section of the river that opens up a little, though the current can still whistle along and there are smaller rapids to the north and south.
Currents can be quite strong (especially after rain). Always check conditions and it is not advisable for children or weaker swimmers (and never swim alone).
There are no toilets along the route.
Tawonga Tourist Park is the perfect destination for nature lovers. Nestled in the base of the Alpine Shire mountains directly on the Kiewa River. Tawonga Tourist Park has powered and unpowered sites and newly upgraded cabins to suit all types of travellers.
During the winter travellers can enjoy easy access to the snowy mountains and during warmer months can enjoy the lush green trees and refreshing river!
